Precedent: Conservatorium Hotel, Amsterdam

It was designed at the end of the 19th century by the Dutch architect Daniel Knuttel as the Rijkspostspaarbankand sparked the regeneration of the Museum Quarter at the end of the 19th century.

The hotel was designed by Milan-based designer Piero Lissoni.
